Use RBA to automate the creation of documents from files for submission to a digital print device.
 In digital printing, a document combines content files (for example, PDF or variable-data print (VDP) files) with a job ticket (JDF file). 
 You can use RBA to prepare documents and target them for a digital production press using the following events and actions:

| Digital Submit event | Start the rule when files are submitted using the Prinergy Digital Submit software. A rule set that starts with the Digital Submit event must by enabled for the entire system. | 
| Job Changed to Production event | Start the rule when files are moved to Production using the InSite Prepress Portal software or InSite Storefront software. | 
| Job Hot Folder Drop event | Start the rule when files are dropped into a hot folder. | 
| Manual Trigger event | Start the rule manually. |

| Edit JDF for NexPress front end action | Prepare a job ticket (JDF file) specifically for the NexPress digital press. The job ticket is to be used in a document. | 
| Create Document action | Combine a content file with a job ticket (JDF file) and target them for the print device. | 
| Submit Document action | Send the created document to the digital print controller connected to the Prinergy system. You can change the order of the print queue. | 
| Delete Document action | Delete the document to save disk space. |
