- In the Input Files pane, select the
No Curve.pdf
file, and then from the Process menu, select the Refine > Refine > 1st Ref-Normz process template. - In the Start Process dialog box, click OK.
- In the 1-Up Artwork pane of Job Manager, select and double-click the
No Curve.p1.pdf
file and preview the newly refined PDF file in Acrobat. - In Acrobat, click the Kodak PDF Trap Viewer button on the toolbar to start PDF Trap Viewer.
Note: In Acrobat X, select View > Tools > Kodak Tools and then select the Kodak PDF Trap Viewer icon from the Kodak Tools section of the Tools panel on the right. - Roll over the icons to display icon names. Click the Highlight objects set to overprint icon to identify overprint objects.
- Check overprint/knock-out in Acrobat.
In the 1-Up Artwork pane, double-click the file and preview it in Acrobat.
View the separations using the Acrobat output preview tool (View > Tools > Print Production > Output Preview). Turn the separations including Dieline off and on to identify the knockout and overprint objects.
Note that the Highlight Traps and Hide Traps icons are not active. - Quit Kodak PDF Trap Viewer and Acrobat.
