*Windows 10 Support and Compatibility with Pandora 10.0 While standard support for Windows 10 from Microsoft is scheduled to end in 2025, customers may choose to purchase extended support directly from Microsoft. Windows 10 has been qualified as a client operating system for use with Pandora 10.0. However, if issues arise that appear to be related to the operating system, Kodak recommends upgrading to Windows 11 for improved support and compatibility. Note: The following Windows OS are not supported: |
Memory | 4 GB of RAM (available minimum) |
Hard disk space | 4 GB of available space |
Screen resolution | 1024 x 768 |
It is not economically possible for Kodak to individually test every processor model, subtype, or operating system, whether from Apple® or Windows®, Intel®, or AMD. We use current development hardware and software to build and test the Prinergy suite of software. We trust the millions of dollars of compatibility testing performed by the chip manufacturers and operating system vendors to ensure that Pandora will perform correctly on all systems.
Pandora and Java
Pandora is Java-based software. The Java software can run on many different kinds of computers because it uses a “virtual machine”—a kind of translator that turns general Java instructions into commands tailored to the type of computer that you are using. For Apple Macintosh and Microsoft Windows OS-based computers, the virtual machine is Java Runtime Environment (JRE). The Pandora installer installs the virtual machine on your computer regardless of whether you already have a virtual machine. This automatic installation ensures that you have a compatible version of JRE.
Pandora and Adobe software components
Pandora 10.0 uses version 18 of the Adobe PDF Library software to read, modify, and write PDF documents.
