- From the Tools menu, select Automated Page Assignment Editor.
Notice that the window now contains entries for every artwork position, based on the imported layout. - Select all rows and click Remove.
- Click Add.
- In the Refined File Name column, select Match Either, then typeRed, then select Match Either again.
- Select the space below the column heading Artwork Set Name/Prefix. Select All Artwork Sets.
- Select the space below the Position column. Delete the number "1" and type
1..3
. This will position the Red artwork in positions 1 to 3. - In the Layer column, leave the layer as 1. This column is used for versioning.
- From the Edit menu, select Copy Rows, and from the Edit menu, select Paste Rows.
- In the new row, change the text from Red to Green.
- In the Position column of the new row, change the position 1..3 to 4..6.
- From the Edit menu, select Paste Rows.
- In the new row, change the text from Red to Blue.
- In the Position column of the new row, change the position 1..3 to 7..9
- Close the APA Editor. In the Save Before Opening a New APA File dialog box, select Yes.
- In the Save APA File As...dialog box, click Save to save the file as
Job.v2.apa
. This file will be automatically saved to the Control folder located in your job folder XX_APA_Range
(where XX is your initials).
