You can view file information about any TIFF or VPS file opened in Preview mode or any TIFF or VPS element placed in a layout in Layout mode.

There are two levels of File Information: Standard and Advanced
- Select the TIFF or VPS file in the Separations panel or select an element in a layout for which you want to view information.
- From the File menu, select Info.
- If you are in Layout mode, you can also view file information from the Inventory panel by selecting the TIFF or VPS and clicking the
icon in the bottom right corner of the panel.
- In order to view additional file information, when in Packaging Mode, select Preferences > Advanced > Show advanced information in the File Information dialog box.
- You can only select the advanced file information preference when in Packaging Mode.
- If you normally work in Commercial Mode, you can temporarily switch to Packaging Mode to select the Advanced preference, then switch back to Commercial Mode and the choice will be retained.
