In this section we will discuss aspects of Ink Analytics that are needed to utilize the service.

Here we will highlight the items required to correctly implement and use Ink Analytics.

1. Define the preferred unit of measure, weight and currency that is used within your production environment. See Preferences for more detail.
2. Define the Resources needed:
   1. Presses - specifications must include: Name, Manufacturer, Mode ID, Type and Fountain Solution used
   2. Substrates - specifications must include: Name, ID, SKU, Manufacturer, Product Name, Type, Weight(g/m2), Price Per Unit and you can provide an optional Description
   3. Plates / Cylinders - specifications must include: Name, Manufacturer, Model ID, Model Name and Dimension
   4. Inks / Coatings - specifications must include: Name, ID, SKU, Color Type, Manufacturer, Product Line, Base and Price.
      NOTE: Although you have defined a preferred unit of currency and weight, you can choose other units to meet your ink /coating manufacturers' specifications. PRINERGY On Demand does not convert these values to match your Preference.
   5. Print Conditions - combines the above items to define a singular relationship to match your uniquely specified Production needs.
