You can use the Smart Layout and Smart Layout for Nesting feature to create ganged layouts.

You can also build Smart Layouts by populating the fields for product quantities, grain direction, step angle, priority, and bleed settings with values from an imported Excel CSV file. For Smart Layout for Nesting, you can build Smart Layouts by populating the fields for Required Amount and Margins.

Note: The Smart Layout feature for creating ganged layouts is available only if you are using the Pro version. It currently has the following limitations:

• If you are using Smart Layout in standalone mode (not with Prinergy Workflow), multi-page PDF files are not supported.
• Only single-sided layouts are supported. At this time, two-sided layouts are not supported.

If you receive this error message while using the Smart Layout feature: Cannot retrieve valid key line from the file: <file name>, correct the following conditions:

• For Artwork, there is no closed Die line in the artwork.
• For Dies, there is no die station or a die crease line is not closed.
