Important: Windows operating systems cannot be upgraded on the KPS MPI controller: if a newer version of operating system is required, you must upgrade the controller supporting the latest operating system.

The following KPS controllers are supported for upgrades:

• Dell OptiPlex XE4 Small Form Factor
• Dell OptiPlex XE3 Small Form Factor
• Dell OptiPlex 7050 Small Form Factor - Note: End of Support September 12, 2022
• Dell Optiplex 7040 Small Form Factor - Note: End of Support July 27, 2021

Controllers must have:

• Windows 10 IoT LTSC (OptiPlex XE3)
• Windows 10 IoT LTSB (OptiPlex 7050)
• Windows 10 Pro (OptiPlex 7040)
• Minimum 4GB of RAM
• Minimum hard disk space of 2 x 250GB hard drives
