Support for integration with InSite Creative Workflow 9.5, Enterprise, and PressProof

Integration with InSite Creative Workflow 9.5; Enterprise; and PressProof is supported.

InSite Gateway

InSite Gateway is a plug-in extension tool that you can install on Adobe InDesign and Illustrator. The extension allows you to submit (upload) a PDF file directly from InDesign and Illustrator to a job on an InSite system version 9.5. The installer of the extension is available to download from the Partner Place.

Combining Page Sets in Preview

InSite users with the correct right now have the ability to combine Multiple Page Sets in the Preview feature. This would allow the user to see a combined (complete) version in the 'flip book' Preview function; for example, the cover and text can be in the same preview by combining page sets.

This request would allow a complete set of Page Sets - which could ultimately comprise the final product to be correctly shown in the Preview mode.

User activity auditing capability

InSite now includes the optional ability to log InSite user actions, through a tool on the InSite Administration Page. It captures a host of user information, such as: 

• Login success
• Login failure
• User locked out
• User timed out and logged off
• User Logout
• Password reset
• Upload file (including file details: name, size, etc)
• Download file (including file details: name, size, etc)
• Email sent
• Securelink sent (including link expiry date)
• Securelink redeemed (including link expiry date)

Logs can be saved or automatically deleted in timed intervals. The directory for the logs can be set by the customer, on a different server if preferred. Logs can be set to start anew on InSite server restart.

Strong password format is configurable

You can define the format of the strong password. The minimum length, minimum number of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numerals and symbols can be specifically specified.

InSite Graphical User Interface (GUI) Improvements

• There is now clearer representation of the page status: large icons for Approval Requested, Approved, Rejected, Correction Requested and Work in Progress, in addition to the color bars on the left hand side.
• Changed the name of the 'Delete Job' right to 'Delete Job (Staff User only)' to avoid confusion

Cookie Notifications now on InSite home page

In compliance with many national and international legal requirements, a cookie notification is now on the InSite homepage. It occurs at first login with the client computer, and will only appear again if the cookies or cache have been cleared.

Failed uploads now appear in the Job History of the InSite Job

In addition to the other warnings of failed uploads, they will now also appear in the Uploads History of the job.
