To make sure that the monitor displays color accurately, you must calibrate when your set calibration expiration interval has been met using the Matchprint Virtual software. When you set the calibration interval to a value that is other than one day, you can run the Monitor Check at a frequency that fits your schedule. It is intended to be faster than a full calibration and will ensure that the monitor is still showing color accurately prior to your next calibration when expiry has occurred. You might also need to recalibrate because of change of users, or change in the brightness or contrast from the front panel, or when the monitor check fails. The software will tell you when you need to recalibrate.

Important: When calibrating your monitor:
Tip: You must have two connections to the monitor—the data connection to display images and the USB connection to allow the calibration software to communicate to the monitor. If the calibration software can't find the monitor (even though you may see images on the monitor), check for a faulty data connection. Only HP monitors do not require a USB connection for Matchprint Virtual to communicate to the Mac computer.
