Display default
The Info palette appears alongside the display window. In PDF geometry design mode, you can use it to:
- Resize and move the media box (Element tab)
- Resize and move the trim box (Element tab)
- Define a bleed around the trim box (Margins tab)
You can also perform some resizing or moving procedures in the display window, and rotate, flip, or invert the image using options in the Modify menu.
To resize the media box, perform one or more of the following actions:
- In the display window, drag the sizing handles of the media box.
- From the Info palette, on the Element tab, under Media box:
To move the media box, on the Element tab, under Media box, change the values in the Offset boxes.
To resize the trim box, perform one or more of the following actions:
- In the display window, drag the sizing handles of the media box.
- From the Info palette, on the Element tab, under Trim box:
To move the trim box, perform one or more of the following actions:
- In the display window, place the pointer inside the trim box and drag the pointer to the new location.
- From the Info palette, on the Element tab, under Trim box, change the values in the Offset boxes. (The offset is defined relative to the top-left corner.)
- From the Info palette, on the Margins tab, select the Bleed check box.
- In the Left, Right, Top, and Bottom boxes, type the bleed dimensions.
These boxes define the bleed relative to the trim box.
You can use options in the Modify menu to manipulate the file in a variety of ways.
- From the Modify menu, manipulate the image in one or more of these ways:
- Select Rotate, and then select the desired degree of rotation: 0°, 90°, 180°, or 270°.
- Select Flip, and then select Horizontal, Vertical, or None.
- To view the file with inverted colors, select the Invert check box.
