Managing the work types within a category

You can add or edit work types, set a different work type to be the new default, and remove or add back a work type in the Prinergy Workshop lists.

  1. Stop the Business Link service: Start > Programs > Kodak > Prinergy Business Link > Stop Server.

The associated Prepress job name displayed is Global by default, unless this is a job-specific type.
Note: Adding an item to a deactivated category will reactivate the category.
  4. If needed, within the selected category, choose one of the following tasks:
      • Edit a work type: Select the item, and edit the options in the Work Type pane.
      • Set the default work type: Select the item, and click Set as Default.
A category is automatically reactivated when you select an item in a deactivated category and designate it as the new default.
      • Remove a work type from the Prinergy Workshop Work Type list: Select the item, and click Deactivate.
Note: You cannot deactivate a work type item if it is the default item (displayed in green text). Before you can deactivate the default item, you must select a work type item in a different category and designate it as the new default.
      • Make a previously deactivated work type available in Prinergy Workshop again: Select the item, and click Activate
