Using Preps, you can create a new profile that is based on one of the automated imposition sample profiles or a profile that you previously created from any of these profiles. Use Preps on the primary server.
Important: Do not modify the provided PrepsPrinergy or default.cfg profiles, because this can adversely affect other Prinergy Workshop processes.

1. In Preps, go to Edit > Preferences.
2. Select the drop down arrow by Profile Name, select the desired profile, and click OK.
3. Click Save Profile, and give the new profile a useful name.

Preps creates a new folder and configuration file with the same name that you specified.

For example, if you set up a profile called JDF_Automatching, a file called JDF_Automatching.cfg is created in this new folder: [%AraxiHome%]\CreoAraxi\AraxiPreps\Profiles\JDF_Automatching\.
You can now optionally open the new file in a text editor and edit the signature-matching criteria options.
