Preps 8.2 and later has a Template Editing mode, which makes it easier to open and edit existing Preps templates.  

To enter template editing mode:

  1. From the Layouts pane, right-click an existing template.
  2. Select Open Template.
    The template opens in Preps template editing mode.


In template editing mode:

  • When you open a template for editing, the title bar displays the name of the template being edited.


  • The template page numbers are larger to make them easier to read when manually numbering template pages. The blue arrow in the example points to the enlarged template page number for page 4.
  • You can rename signatures.
  • The file menu item Save changes to Save Template. When you use the Save Template command, any changes are permanently saved into the template that is open.



  • You can save a copy of the template by selecting the Save As Template file menu option.

In Preps 8.2 e versioni successive è disponibile una modalità di modifica dei modelli, che semplifica l'apertura e la modifica di modelli Preps esistenti.  

Per attivare la modalità di modifica dei modelli:

  • Nel riquadro Layout, fare clic con il pulsante destro del mouse su un modello esistente.
    • Selezionare Apri modello.
    Il modello viene aperto in modalità di modifica dei modelli Preps.

  • I numeri di pagina del modello sono più grandi per semplificarne la lettura quando si numerano manualmente le pagine del modello. La freccia blu nell'esempio è rivolta verso il numero di pagina ingrandito del modello per pagina 4.

    • La voce del menu file Salva diventa Salva modello. Quando si utilizza il comando Salva modello, le modifiche vengono salvate definitivamente nel modello aperto.

    Preps 8.2 以降には、既存の Preps テンプレートを開いて簡単に編集できるテンプレート編集モードがあります。  

    テンプレート編集モードに切り替えるには：

    1. ［レイアウト］ウィンドウ枠で、既存のテンプレートを右クリックします。
    2. ［テンプレートを開く］を選択します。
      テンプレートが Preps テンプレート編集モードで開きます。


    テンプレート編集モードの場合：

    • 編集のためにテンプレートを開くと、タイトル バーに編集中のテンプレートの名前が表示されます。


    • テンプレートに手動でページ番号を付ける場合、読みやすくするためにテンプレートのページ番号は大きくなります。この例の青い矢印は、大きく表示されたテンプレート ページ番号、ページ 4 を指しています。
    • 折丁の名前は変更できます。
    • ファイル メニュー項目の［保存］が［テンプレートの保存］に変わります。［テンプレートの保存］コマンドを使用すると、開いているテンプレートに変更が永久に保存されます。



    • ［テンプレートとして保存］ファイル メニュー オプションを選択すると、テンプレートのコピーを保存できます。
